Arneis Langhe DOC Il Falchetto
Regular price
€19,95 EUR
Arneis is one of those grapes many people don't know yet, but often understand immediately after one glass. This white wine from Piedmont is fresh and aromatic, with a soft roundness and just a bit more refinement than an average patio wine.
Taste
🍋 Freshness: lively, but not sharp
🍑 Fruit: pear, peach, and citrus
🌿 Character: elegant, soft, and slightly floral
🍷 Finish: dry, refined, and beautifully lingering
When to drink this wine?
On the patio, with a charcuterie board, with fish, crustaceans and shellfish, light pasta, or a summer salad.
The story behind the wine
In the hills of the Langhe, Piedmont is primarily known for its great red wines. Yet, Arneis has been at home here for generations. Il Falchetto makes a fresh and elegant white wine from it, in which the soft fruit and refined character of the grape come beautifully to the fore.
