โฌ19,95 EUR
More depth than an average Vermentino, without losing its fresh character. This wine from the Tuscan Maremma combines ripe fruit, Mediterranean spiciness, and an elegant, long finish.
Taste
๐ Freshness: refined and beautifully balanced
๐ Fruit: ripe pear, peach, and citrus
๐ฟ Character: Mediterranean, spicy, and slightly creamy
๐ท Finish: dry, elegant, and persistent
When to drink this wine?
With fish, crustaceans and shellfish, pasta with light sauce, grilled vegetables, an extensive charcuterie board, or a long summer evening.
The story behind the wine
On the Tuscan coast, the grapes get plenty of sun during the day and cooling sea breezes in the evening. This helps the Vermentino to become ripe and flavourful, while retaining its freshness. Cerreto Piano makes a stylish wine with significantly more depth than a simple patio wine.
